High growth, fast pace, WAY more good than bad

Pros

I get to work with some really smart, dynamic people and be part of building a great company. Leadership is transparent, and the drive to be a different kind of company is authentic. I've probably never worked so hard in my life, but I really enjoy the people I work with on a day-to-day basis, and I believe in the company we're building.

Cons

Mission is a growth-oriented company. That means the days are packed (some people won't like the pace), that we can't take the time to sort out all the details before we have to GO, and that sometimes our processes are inefficient. That creates some challenges and, at times, some frustrations.

Pros

This is one of the best companies i had the oppertunity to work with. They have great people who really do care about the world and what they are doing.

Cons

Meeting heavy A bit of shoot from the hip, which isn't all that bad but can be if it gets to wide spread.

What - we don't have any meetings at all! Just kidding, we know meetings can get overwhelming! We are working on it and making sure there are tons of tools available for communication that doesn't involve meetings. Let us know what else we can do!

- Great co-workers - Short ladder to talk to leadership - Direct impact on business outcomes - Daily interaction with customers

Cons

- Transparency between different departments could be better - While communication from 'the top' is regular, some of it feels like lip service.

Your advice is spot on. Sometimes we move so fast that team communication is left behind, especially around product changes. We are working to change that, especially as the product team grows, but your words are absolutely heard. Cross-departmental communication has also been something we're working on and is certainly not perfect yet, but we'd love your feedback on our initiatives.
