Smoke and Mirrors

Pros

- Immediate teams on the ground are supportive of each other despite a bad culture and weak executive leadership. - Still money to be made if in Sales, but the window is closing. - Great benefits and work is remote.

Cons

- A ton of time and energy is invested making the Mission brand look good in front of AWS by GTM and P&C while customers and internal delivery teams suffer. - Over the last 18 months, annual recurring AWS revenue has been stagnant due to massive customer churn. - The main FinOps tool was removed and replaced with a cheap alternative so the company could juice its margins ahead of the CDW acquisition, but at the expense of customers. - Mission is mostly surviving on prior successes that were largely driven by the original companies and key members who have since moved on. - Poor execution and misleading practices are causing many AWS sellers to box us out of new opportunities. - There is zero accountability at the leadership level as decisions are often made on the fly by our President, and it's up to the delivery teams to figure out how to "fake it." - Many sellers feel guilt selling a bill of goods with our AI services. - P&C is cold as ice, and the "core values" have little actual meaning here. - CDW has now bought this can of worms, and it's likely going to get worse so long as the current leadership remains and deception continues to be a guiding principle.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that you value the support within your immediate team, as well as our benefits and remote work flexibility. These are important aspects of our culture that we strive to maintain and enhance. We also understand that significant transitions and changes can sometimes lead to frustrations or differing perspectives. Your concerns about leadership, internal processes, and tools are important to us, and we are continuously looking for ways to improve how we support both our employees and customers. While change is often complex, we remain focused on making thoughtful decisions that align with our mission and values. Our core values are at the heart of who we are, and we recognize that ensuring they’re consistently reflected across the organization is an ongoing effort. Feedback like yours highlights where we can do better, and it is invaluable as we work to create an environment that prioritizes collaboration, transparency, and shared success. Thank you again for sharing your perspective. If you’re open to further conversation, we’d welcome the opportunity to connect and learn more about how we can improve your experience and address your concerns.
