MSTS is a great place to work

Pros

I have worked there for almost 6 years. I have found it to be people-oriented, safety conscientious, and collaborative. The work is critical in providing for the national defense.

Cons

My only issue is one MSTS can't control and that is the stream of DOE funding. Like all companies that engage with the government, funding in the amounts and schedule negotiated is never a forgone conclusion.

Lazy coworkers

Pros

The opportunity to do more and learn more if you get on the good side of upper employees

Cons

A lot of hired people who were hired because they know managers and don’t know what to do. Then you gotta train them even though they’re making double your salary

Pros

Great pay and potentials to move to other positions

Cons

Scheduling for security is crap, seniority based, and can change every week
