Pros
* smaller team, which means you know everyone well and get a good say in all decisions * office is fun, and you get to meet people from other departments. * people have a lot of trust in founders to do the right thing * work life balance is great. i am able to set boundaries and they're respected. others might work more or less than you, but there's trust in everyone to do what they need to do. * coworkers are interesting inside and outside of work. they care a lot about payroll and taxes, and also about cooking and music. very smart yet low ego.
Cons
* number of women is growing, but there could still be more, especially in the more technical areas. overall, diversity could be higher. but it's not too bad compared to other startups. * some people work a lot on the weekend. there isn't an expectation that everyone works on the weekend. but getting messages on the weekend is still not fun
