Pros

- Salary on Time - Table, Chairs to Sit - Laptop to work

Cons

- Rampant unethical practices across teams - A culture that rewards incompetence rather than capability - People managers who lack empathy, leadership, and basic managerial skills - Alarming managerial incompetence—from PMO to Documentation to PM to Engineering - Promotions driven by flattery instead of performance or merit - Absence of consistent HR and Finance policies - Zero investment in Learning & Development - Outdated technology stack with no roadmap for modernization - Endless, purposeless meetings that drain productivity - Agile and Scrum practices discarded - A pervasive lack of trust, employees don’t believe leadership, and leadership doesn’t believe employees - Weak product vision and poor product management leading to inferior outcomes - Engineering reduced to a patchwork, bandaid-driven approach - Arrogant architects who meddle without reason and take credit for others’ work

Pros

ModelN used to be extremely good company before getting acquired by Vista.

Cons

After acquiring Vista, the top level management changed and their simple logic is to cut the costs by removing the RSU benefits, delay hikes and extremely less hike. Now ModelN is becoming service type company without any focus on building new stuffs. People are silent and no one raising his/her voice. Its altogether we are living in a slavery environment after getting acquired by Vista. No future optimistic goals, No investment in new technologies and products. New product goals which was stated before acquisition is kept on hold.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciate the work-life balance, growth opportunities, and challenge we provide to support professional development. Becoming part of a private, portfolio company allows us to focus strategically on company long-term growth. While RSUs are no longer part of our rewards, we're dedicated to offering competitive compensation and continued career development opportunities. We're also working on enhancing communication within the organization and will be rolling out new programs at Ignite that describe these changes, Thank you for helping us move forward along this new and wonderful path.
