      New company, lots of potential

      Pros

      This is truly a good place to work. The benefits are amazing, the whole arrangement of the company is original and new for veterinary medicine. The doctors and other clinical staff are all sweet and kind. Fear Free methods are encouraged, trying to consider the best of everyone is a big priority. They are very flexible and understanding of what life may throw at you. The clients you can get to know even in a virtual setting.

      Cons

      This is a new company so some things are still in development and they do change around parts of the model. You have to keep on your toes because the day can go from relaxed to insane at the drop of a hat. Many employees seem to need to leave early or call out. It can be stressful that way.

      - A brilliant team of experts who are eager and willing to roll up their sleeves to elevate and change the veterinary space - An engaged, thoughtful and transparent CEO & leadership team - Weekly meetings that give each team the opportunity to share projects and updates - visibility and transparency are key - Competitive pay, solid benefits package options and fun and ever evolving perks (for you and your pet!) - Collaborative cross-functional teams that enjoy working together and solving problems - Flexible work schedule and no micromanaging

      Cons

      - Modern Animal is a young company, so there is a lot that needs to be built across all teams (corporate and clinic). If you want a structured environment with clear direction, this could be a challenging work environment - Ambiguity is a part of any start up, but you'll have the trust of your team to explore ideas, build, test and refine

      Pros

      So many Pros: - Autonomy to make decisions and try new things across different teams - Leadership team is open to feedback and ideas from all levels - Willingness to have fun with our marketing - Great people in the clinic (Care Team) and on the Office team - A dedicated CEO who believes in the company's mission - Everyone really really loves and cares about animals. It's so wonderful to see everyone's pets pop up on Zoom - brings a joyfulness to the work we're doing daily. I have so many great things to say!!!

      Cons

      Not many Cons... As with any start-up, there aren't a lot of processes in place. As the company scales there will be more processes introduced.
