Free lunch, nice location, nice benefits

Cons

There are no good upper level scientists. Small company but everything is not transparent (scientifically), no company meeting to show any scientific data, maybe nobody knows what they are doing or there is no good data to show?!. Moderna is just a business firm, not a Biotech company.Hope something can come out from $500 million dollars.

Pros

Exciting mission, excellent people in the trenches, great perks (lunch, paid parking, decent benefits -- 2% 401(k) match, PPO reimbursement, etc).

Cons

Priorities change with the wind. No clear vision of getting something successful out the door. High rate of forced turnover for a variety of reasons. Terrible work-life balance -- the expectations are very high and it's not uncommon or irregular to see techs in the lab past midnight, days in a row.
