      Was Great - In Purgatory Now - Where are the Senior Leaders??

      Pros

      Opportunity to learn and be part of a company with tremendous potential. Resume builder. Learned so much and worked with such great people over the years. Was part of some historical projects.

      Cons

      Executive and senior leadership are wildly out of touch with the reality of the real work done by the great front-line associates, engineering, and scientists. Covid long-hour grind became the new normal and peoples' personal lives and health suffered greatly. Systems all need updating and new leaders are floundering. People don't trust leadership.

      Pros

      The only benefit is having the company name on your resume.

      Cons

      The most toxic work environment ever. Very clicky. Upper management hired and fired 6 people for the same position in 1 year. Everyone is wrong but them. Micromanagement at its finest. Will never work here again.

      We are very surprised to see this review of your experience at Moderna as we are not aware of any Moderna employee being immediately discharged in the absence of substantiated misconduct, let alone multiple people being hired and fired for the same role in a short time period as you describe. We urge you to reach out to your prior HR business partner to provide more detail so that we can look into the issues that you raise, as such activity, if true, is not how we treat our employees at Moderna.       Pros

      Although Moderna is over-hyped, there is some exciting science taking place there. There are also a lot of good people who work there

      Cons

      The arrogance of certain members of management is hard to swallow when you consider the fact that all but one has NEVER developed a drug or have been part of a team that has. The oppressive culture is generally true although some groups experience it worse than others. A lot of good talent left while I was there.
