      Great Place to work, but some drawbacks (as with anyone)

      Pros

      - Lots of travel - Great co workers, great environment - Very pragmatic, data driven company - Mistakes are treated as a learning opportunity, rather than with harsh disclipline

      Cons

      - Very slow to change - Very conservative - Slow to respond to increases in growth - Future vision and diversification is unknown from a product standpoint - Benefits are OK

      Pros

      The company diversifies its interests and provides a good amount of stability. The work environment is professional.

      Cons

      There is a very traditional feel to the atmosphere and I find it a little difficult to truly enjoy and contribute to my fullest abilities.

      Pros

      Modine is definitely one of the industry leaders in their field of heat management. They are technically very well-positioned to maintain that status with their testing capabilities, engineering resources, etc. They seem to promote from within quite well, which allows them to keep top talent for the long term. Good opportunities for training and traveling to manufacturing plants for career advancement.

      Cons

      Like many companies that think of themselves as industry leaders, I think Modine has a bit of a blind spot in terms of thinking their way is the right way. This may be changing, but there are a lot of long-time employees who have not worked anywhere but Modine and that seemed to set the tone for the corporate mindset and overly conservative corporate culture.
