Toxic work environment with cliquish co-workers & cult mentality, lack of personal and professional growth, judgmental micro-managers, moving hoops and unreal expectations on project and task deadlines. Management plays favorites and some people can do no wrong. If you don't fit in culturally, you will very soon be gone under guise of constructive dismissal

-Work on proprietary products which are using outdated technology. -Mining industry takes a lot of time to evolve. -Takes too much time to create new products using new technology as the company is too small. -Big products need to be made bug free instead of driving many new features. -Release complete new products. -Changes made to improve product quality has helped but will take a lot more time. -Old habits of driving sales over product readiness always exists. -Training budgets are low priority and always cut. -Moving up to management is sometimes based on seniority or technical capability instead of the right fit for managing people. -There seems to be some sort of cultural favoritism which may or may not be true. But when theres a lot of coincidences, people start to make conclusions. -Frequent management changes and constant restructuring tends to cause more harm than good.
