Pros

Metro Stipend given for commuting, Lunch given to you on Friday, Dress down/jeans work environment. You have a lot of nice people hard working people at the entry & mid-level job section at this company.

Cons

CEO is a complete self-involved narcissist enjoy's firing people at the drop of a hat. Will look to replace you while your working lie directly to your face while interviewing your replacement behind your back. Environment can be coldly calculating. Inconsistent messaging about direction of the company. Too heavily focused on Sales and Marketing teams. Disregard for all front line employees, as decisions are based entirely on Sales needs. When ideas and training is brought up, management dismisses or overlooks it. Overworked employees. You will be terminated in less than 3 months for no reason. There is a lot of finger pointing going on with no accountability. I think many of the managers are not in the correct positions or are not given enough information to make their employees productive and efficient. I feel like the CEO is far too much into the 'Rah Rah' let's go out there and rock it mentality and not sure they really know what they are doing. Management has no clue on how to lead and manage a company.

Pros

Free booze on occasion, free lunches and compensation is fair. Some great colleagues, who quickly leave or are already out the door.

Cons

Agree with other poster - don't expect to be welcomed here. Its a strange culture: lost of passive aggressive people who love to gossip about you, including people in positions who should never be engaging in such juvenile behavior. Only the people who click with that way of being stay, so consider who you will be surrounded by if you're actually a professional. Also agree with other poster - CEO is a total narcissist and leadership is unbelievably incompetent. They create fires and put blame on others to distract people from paying too much attention to their real lack of abilities. You will be amazed that people with that much incompetence can actually keep jobs. Its dog eat dog - someone is always out to get someone else. I get a sense that its a lot like working in organized crime. Company also has a revolving door. Half the people you work with will be gone in less than a year so don't get too attached.

Pros

Lots of work and work challenges. Everyday is different. worked on great technologies that we really thought would change the world. Flexible hours. Great people (who are leaving for more secure opportunities).

Cons

Lots of nepotism and incompetent managers. Managers manage by intimidation and threats. Management is completely inept. They manage by fear and intimidation. They need to stop hiring managers from no where and start hiring real managers. The upper managers are terrible. They do not plan or communicate anything well. They do not listen to anyone. They do not know what they are doing. Work hour expectations are rarely less than 60+ hours per week, working on vacation is mandatory. There is little to no training provided. Compensation for education is also more of a talking point than an actual action item as most education reimbursement applications are not approved prior to class start. The spirit in this company is low, there is no pride in the work, if you work harder than the anyone else (which you easily will), then they will label you as the worker, you will not be respected for hard work, to them, hard workers are the little ones, and everyone must be a hard worker or out they go. Upper management is clueless. BizDev has no target, biz dev pitches projects that make no long term sense, Ops is mismanaged. All the good people are hurrying out the door.
