Pros
I love my job! I have creative freedom, flexibility, and work so well my team. We work hard, but its also very chill. We laugh a lot. Leadership and management actually listens to ideas, respects expertise and values input. It is a very collaborative environment. The last year (covid) was challenging and we have had to pivot a lot, but we all worked well together to make it happen to overcome obstacles. I feel incredibly valued by my company and am told frequently that I am appreciated. I have worked many other places in my career (both in house and agency side), and this is definitely the best job I've ever had.
Cons
There's a lot of last minute stuff that pops up, but no more than any other design job. And its usually small stuff. Occasional weekends, but we use flex days to cover it. Overall nothing that is an actual REAL issue.
