Meaningful work, wonderful patients and physicians.

Cons

Management hires nurses with no oncology experience and no desire to learn. Less than 25% of RN's are OCN which is ridiculous in a cancer hospital. Understaffed. Do not value long term employees. High turn over rate. Lack of training for Clinical Research Coordinators. Management oblivious to issues at the ground level. Research pharmacy is VERY understaffed and an accident waiting to happen.

Great place to work if you are a compassionate individual that cares about contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. Working with the patients can be very rewarding.

Cons

If you are a female or a minority, It does not matter how experienced, educated or qualified you are for a potential position, if you are looking to move up in your career, this is not the place to do it. . Every single department in the organization is overworked, severely understaffed and underpaid. Employees are not valued Benefits have been severely reduced or cut, because of budget constraints, but for some reason there was still enough money in our budget to break ground on a new 80 million dollar facility?? Inexperienced and unqualified people appointed to leadership positions because they are friends with the right people. Leadership decisions are all politically motivated
