Since starting at Mohegan, I can honestly say it is one of the most positive working experiences I have ever had. The staff is friendly, the supervisors are very respectful and the schedule is very flexible. This company wants happy employees and encourages fun by having contests for staff, hero cards, rewards, free meals for every shift, free or discounted tickets to shows and opportunities to advance. Great place to work.

Pros

$8 for lunch everyday, $16 for lunch if you work 10+ hours. Get to work every concert, basketball game, see celebrities. Can also work conventions like terrificon, etc. Good entry level job for work experience if you have just graduated high school or if you want a side job.

Cons

On-call employees get horrible schedules each week. We do not get a fixed schedule, we work when they need us to work. If there are no concerts or events, we do not get any hours. On-call employees get no benefits. Favoritism gets you better positions/posts each shift. Hard to rise through the ranks. Hard to survive with just this salary.
