most of the office based colleagues are the reason people stay at the company for so long

Cons

- HR being detached from daily work environment - no daily management of office staff - new employees declining the office culture, and being allowed to do so - a mismatch in pay and reward, to actual work and achievements - people being appointed middle-management due to length of time within the company, but not being trained to manage, or even know more than the staff they are supposed to manage - staff retention is declining
