Pros

Community Brands bought up huge market share, so there's lots of opportunities for cross selling and integrations.

Cons

Company leadership is all over the place. I've worked closely with folks on Marketing, Sales, and Product teams and I've been amazed by the number of leaders who have left or changed position, and the multiple reorganizations hasn't really changed that. Teams are not getting solid direction from senior leadership, so we feel like we're making it up as we go along. The direction from the CEO is vague, when present at all. I've been shocked to see his directives take 6 months+ to make their way to teams doing the work to see them realized. Teams are understaffed, Marketing in particular, which makes me pause, since I thought we were trying to sell stuff here. :) We've heard about a fantastic employee benefits program for over a year now, with no traction there. I think they're hoping a consolidated 401k program is going to make up for unrealistically low compensation. Company culture is poor, favoring only those folks who work in the St. Pete office.

Pros

You don't have to urinate in bottles like at Amazon? They copied everything else about Amazon in how they treat their workers (look it up). We do get a short bathroom breaks, in which you hear people crying in the bathroom. The worst job I've ever had.

Cons

They track and monitor tons of statistics about employees speed and publish it publicly to shame us to work impossibly fast. Every job I've had does this but they take it to extremes that shouldn't be legal. If you don't reach their impossible goals, they make you work for free (which is illegal of course). They won't give you raises after years. Co-workers are too competitive, stressed and fearful to do something about it, and then after they get fired many finally write me that they felt the same way but now it's too late to do something about it. The turnover is insane, just like Amazon. When you speak up management silences you, isolates you, and even laughs in your face about concerns that are literally deteriorating your health. It's inhumane, I really don't want to see more people go through this just take my word: find another company it's not worth what this does to your life.

Pros

-Unlimited PTO -Company pays for Salesforce Certifications -Recent salary "bonuses" have motivated me to become better at tech interviews and has given me the confidence to find employment elsewhere

Cons

-Low pay compensation -Ongoing brain drain makes it difficult to find anyone who has any knowledge about how older sensitive systems work -We're a tech company but... we don't seem to have that many employees with technical expertise or any kind of technical background... I've had developers ask me to rebase a branch for them because they didn't understand what that is... -Product quality has dipped a lot. It seems every time we try to have a discussion around why, management just finds a way to fudge the numbers so our stats looks good for another 3-4 months or so or until someone realizes we're just padding the stats and calls it out. -The people who genuinely cared about the product have either left, or stopped caring and volunteering at this point, we just got our bonuses this month and I know of two devs who started their applications and reaching out for referrals. The company just feels like a directionless zombie at this point that is coasting along from the great efforts of the original team.
