Pros

- Options for growth into a variety of career paths - Dedicated staff/team to providing effective services to clients/community - Agency provides multiple levels of care to clients of diverse backgrounds - Good benefits/compensation for employees for a non-profit company - Multiple program locations offer different candidates options to work at most convenient sites (to avoid commute, etc.) - Very diverse group of employees in agency (language, ethnic background, etc.)

Cons

- Due to size of the agency, there are occasions when decisions can take a while before it is made/confirmed - Closed Shop (union) can be something that can potentially detract candidates, for those not interested in union shops

Great culture and dedicated staff. Lots of opportunity for growth and development including upward mobility. Support for ongoing education and individual professional growth. Excellent benefits. Broad scope of services offered and lots of different programs. Dedicated to to being a leader in its field and takes a proactive and forward thinking approach to the company's direction

Cons

There are no easy jobs and the expectations for professionalism is high. Competitiveness of compensation package for highly experiences staff is poor relative to some other employers and this agency is limited in its ability to address this.
