Started looking for other roles the day I started

Pros

First day I started I called a former employee who said I should look for other work, so I did and then left.

Cons

Upper management doesn't understand what a startup is. HR is run by an out of touch person from the generation that could buy a home when they were in their mid 20s but still complains young people aren't having enough children

pay is good, good equipment no cost to high on spending for office items, but not work supporting

company no structure constant changing or work goals new management with new work hours and change of standards

Amazing people, atrocious leadership

Pros

The people. The people, the people, the people. Alright, the technology is cool, too, and is demonstrating on-orbit success, which is fantastic! Also the people are amazing. The facility is beautiful. Snacks abound. Moving at breakneck speed without sufficient people means you're going to learn a LOT. Last shout out for The People. One of the best teams you will ever find.

Cons

Leadership is out of touch and out of time. Former government (think 2016-2020 government) and Lockheed executives abound. People are not a consideration of the decision making apparatus. HR appears stuck in the 90s. Culture used to be a huge strength, but it has slowly ebbed away like a tiny leak in an oxygen tank, with no one around to replenish it. Morale is in a downward spiral.
