Pros

Perks - Monarch offers many employee perks such as extra holidays - birthdays or anniversary days off - even Martin Luther King Day - They really try to go the extra mile. They have award programs for Leasing, Maintenance and Property Managers. Monarch even provides boot and tool allowances! Promotions - Monarch provides a lot of training for employees. They encourage promotions from within the company. Leadership - The owner, Bob Nicholls, sets the bar high and works along with everyone else to meet financial, renewal and occupancy goals.

Cons

They don't own any properties on the East Coast or in Florida.

We are so happy to hear that you enjoy working for Monarch! Our acquisition strategy is fairly focused on a few specific regions, so we're not likely to grow in Florida or the East Coast anytime soon. However, we do plan to continue to grow as a whole and look forward to your contributions to those efforts!

Pros

I've worked with 2 other national management companies. I had a relatively good experience with both. The thing about Monarch is that you, as a leader, have the freedom to develop your staff the way you see fit. Yes, there is a "standard" way that everything needs to be done and as the company grows that continues to change.....BUT.....you have intellectual freedom. No one is micro managing you, telling you the "right" way to lead, or dictating processes to you. The salaries are fair based on the industry standards, bonuses are good, and commissions are above average for site level employees. It's a glass floor, glass ceiling, type of company. Development of staff and training are paramount and Monarch believes the same.

Cons

I, personally, have not seen cons to coming on board the monarch team 4 months ago.

Pros

Growing companies are an exciting place to be right now! Opportunity for growth, and upward mobility.

Cons

With expansion comes some growing pains, in addition to the excitement. This can result in undefined roles and expectations, which can be frustrating.

Thank you so much for taking time to provide us with feedback. Yes we are growing and it is exciting isn't it! As our growth has come quickly, we do have an opportunity to better outline some of our policies and procedures. We are certainly working on this with the addition of a few key staff members to help define some of these items. Thank you for your patience as we work to continuously improve!
