Pros
I've never worked for a better sales organization in my career. There are several things that really stand out to me:
1. Leadership - I believe our leadership, from my direct manager up to the CRO, genuinely care about my success and growth. In fact, our CRO said in a call last week that he takes pride in building the next sales leaders, not just for MongoDB, but in the industry.
2. Sales process - our sales process is the best I've ever used. Moreover, we actually believe in it and use it every day. As I grow at Mongo and if/when I move into a new role, I will be much better based on what I learned.
3. The product - This is the best product I've ever sold. The competitive moat we have is growing constantly. On top of that, the product just works. No sitting up on support calls on nights and weekends. It's fantastic!
Cons
We've been growing tremendously which leads to some growing pains around processes changing and being implemented. Like any changes, at times it can be frustrating, but the organization always works hard to make the processes easier for us reps.
