      - Great Teams and High Quality Engineers - Awesome products with a capacity to grow 10-100x in customer-base and market-cap - Respects Work-Life Balance (specially for parents) - Provides all the necessary means for one's growth - Two weeks per year that you can build whatever you want (aka Hackaton)

      - The processes can seem slow (which is unavoidable in a big/growing organization)

      Pros

      My time at MongoDB has been a career highlight. This experience has been overwhelmingly positive for many reason, but some standouts are: - phenomenal team - career advancement - excellent training - winning culture - outstanding leadership The fun that comes along with winning as part of a supportive and positive team that is growing rapidly cannot be overstated here.

      Cons

      Bumps along the road are expected, when a company is in hyper growth mode. While MongoDB deals with these growing pains quite well, those growing pains do exist. Expectations should be set appropriately.

      Some of the smartest people I have had the pleasure to be around. Great environment. Disciplined yet fun makes for a well oiled machine that you love to be a part of.

      Cons

      It's growing like a rocket ship. Therefore it can be easy for things to slip through the cracks or take a long time to be addressed if they aren't directly tied to short term pains.
