Great Team, Poor Pay

Pros

Great team, informal culture, progression based on merit, effort gets recognised, safe working conditions, staff discount to all other H&M brands. Definitely the best or least-worse UK high street fashion brand to work for.

Cons

Poor compensation and benefits, poor work-life balance, dated technology and/or operations, policy to understaff so staff are constantly stretched, lack of transparency in organisation, can't keep up with competitors

Pros

Good if you worship the brand

Cons

Everyday is the same Standing all day, can’t even lean against the desk whilst you work Expect you to worship the brand and be 100% enthusiastic al the time without insensitive. Felt pressured to wear their brand Biased management, favouritism and double standards amongst staff. Punished for being less than 3 mins late for a 7am start! For some reason think that I should care about maximising their profits. Poor staff ‘discount’
