Pros

Great health insurance and benefits. Smart and talented people. There can be good work/life balance if you're on the right team. Good clients.

Cons

It's not a people-first organization. The company seems to be hiring mostly outside of the United States and jobs are moving to places like Buenos Aires, Mexico, and Canada.

Pros

Media.Monks no doubt puts out amazing work and it is so fun to be surrounded by that environment. The People team always has events if you’re in a city with other Monks. Cool offices in cool cities.

Cons

The pay is just OK, and only some employees at titles get bonuses. There is also next to no pay parity in ranges due to the fact they’ve acquired over 10 agencies and are merging everyone together. Management isn’t always communicative — layoffs happen without any announcements which feels cold. Weekly emails from the owner are constantly out of touch with the daily concerns of employees. A lot of roles that do…nothing. But that’s what happens at a massive 9k+ company.
