Monmouth really is a great place to work

Pros

They offer fantastic benefits, and the campus is a great place to teach. It is beautiful, but also every classroom is up to date techonolgically. Most people stay many years at Monmouth, which shows how people care about the school. There is a lot of support for students, and most opportunities to enhance teaching and research are supported by the administration.

Cons

For faculty, the workload can be extremely heavy. They are asked to do a lot, and not just tenure-track or tenured faculty.
