Tuition reimbursement, off holidays and weekends.

- Micromanagement - Favortism - Low morale amongst employees - Lack of resources to do job function appropriately and correctly - No open door policy - Lack of communication - Your college education holds no weight/they will not negotiate your salary based on your degree, no matter how advanced

Pros

Benefits are good my insurance is covered through 1199 National Benefit Fund.

Cons

I've worked for Montefiore for 11 years at 3 various locations. I have worked my way up very slowly by transferring to different locations. One thing that many sites have in common is a lack of poor management there is no such thing here as experience and education is all about who you know. Out of the 3 sites there was 1 administrator that was fantastic but unfortunately no room for growth so I was forced to move on.

Pros

The union benefits are good... and offer tuition assistance if you want to continue your education some of the people you work with are good people with the same goal in mind

Cons

no room for growth... very poor Management You can only move up if you are “favored” constantly over worked and under staffed. major lack of training there are employees constantly doing the work the wrong way.. and nothing is said.., so you will pick up the slack for them
