Cons

Small core of bad management has a hold on things, manage by intimidation, rudeness and manage from a point of their own insecurity, they play contributor against contributor and hampers new or the good managers and contributors to progress.

Great hours, independence, weekly clinical supervision, integrative care, very good 1199 benefits including investment in pension after 10 years, comparable salary, dedicated coworkers, annual continuing education budget, wonderful opportunities to impact children & families in school based setting.

Cons

Many demands on productivity means feeling less able to provide QUALITY care when quantity is often the focus. Barriers on creativity, over focus on evidence based interventions as of late, 0 accountability for personnel problems on the part of administration, no upward mobility, 0 advocacy or support for social workers from some supervisors.

Cons

Micro-management and poor team leadership. Evening/weekend support requirements are not compensated or conducive to a proper work/life balance. Management poorly leverages individual skillsets and team resources.
