Pros

Moog encourages and makes room for career growth within the company. They know it is difficult to find good people so if they find someone, they will really try to keep them,

Cons

The IT department is a bit clunky. I understand the reasons for the structure, but it makes my job a bit more difficult than it has to be. HR is clunky in a different way. Again, I understand why, but they take too long to post jobs and hire.

Pros

Most of the engineering team has a high level of flexibility in schedule; working from home a few days per week (depending on role) and getting in 40 hours (not a strict 8hr/day). Vacation program, insurance, and 401K matching are also good Office organized/sponsored sports leagues (volleyball, frisbee, soccer, dragon boat) Multiple options for lateral and forward advancement to different roles.

Cons

Depending on your role, you may be working the same program for a decade (commercial aircraft). Other programs are shorter turn-around time. Bureaucracy can get in the way Some growing pains
