Fast growing, as the only programmer in the company get pulled around a lot between different programming languages. In programming there are easy way to do things, but the ‘cool’ things take time to develop. Many times I’ve explained what is possible in the code, and many times they choose the most difficult features. The result is a very powerful/cool program. Creating a ‘cool’ program from scratch is difficult, but so worth it when it is completed and you can take pride in your work. There are somedays getting these ‘cool’ programming features implemented turns the mind into mush. (Granted this is probably my own fault for telling managers something is possible)
