Pros

I have been a loyal and dedicated employee for 10 years. I have grown professionally and personally in my career with Morgan. When you dedicate yourself this company invests in you! I continue to better as we grow bigger!

Cons

Reduce funding and demand of amenity Enhancements and increase capital asset funding to improve quality of product, updated replacements of plumbing, roofing, HVAC’s and properly address deferred maintenance of buildings. When purchasing older class communities funding should go to improving quality of product and structure. Include replacement of interior doors and baseboards to compete with newer communities.

Pros

Big company who has a lot of contested work that was built on a whole different vision they once had. Until they had a shift in management. A company can only have a sturdy dependable meaning to others if it stays consitent. You walk into any leasing office it is a young girl who admiringly says they were on welfare before hiring. That is not how hiring and staffing is conducted. And if your using supposedly professional staffing consultants, are they really ascertained with the knowledge to ethically select employees. Better yet are the hiring consultants only hiring off of a list given to them and in fact they are without knowledge of the ethical breach there conducting during selecting the appropriate candidate. I guess it is a matter for a court to decide. I can assure you this is a big issue

Cons

Don’t build there staff by the fair housing or employment law. As you will see if you apply for ANY position or visit any apartment they run!, all the newly employed candidates are not as prepared for the positions they fill. In fact if you filled out employment in any form or on any site they require you to fill out the tax forms where your disclosing your social security numbers and private information. This is so that the company can get tax breaks. For every single employee they hire they get around about 500 tax break at the end of year. This is a hugh money saver for a company. But laws say you can only ask if an already hired employee is in face receiving any assistance and then at that point the company can file for that persons tax break. So they hire about 75% prospective employees based on if they can in fact save the company money. The other percentage is of corse to hide this little factoid. Now. Understandably. In this day and age it is hard to make money in business. Taxes kill in Philadelphia. So you have to find way to save. But the laws are set in specific ways to construct a fair market for job availability to be based on actual knowledge and schooling and exoeriance. Now if you hire simply for a tax credit. Your company vision is not!!! Your not really thriving to build the best company and customer service and financial outcomes because the people your hiring are not as capable as the other ones you have dismissed. I’m sad to see that one of the biggest companies based its decision making on this very discriminatory fact. And I have taken this to the correct state official whom I worked for 3+ years and he was appalled that Morgan properties had this on the application itself. If you don’t fill it out your not even considered. They sat and filled out 5applications and recorded the process. It’s a major violation. Now thy will have to commit to the same laws and will not be investigated and checking into all employees to se exist what percentage was the recent hire. They will have lost the money they once considered tax breaks and marked as violators and the building owners won’t want this company to represent there living enviorment. In fact I am thinking about starting my own management company. And I have contact most of their vendors. They are not happy about this fact being reality. I wouldn’t want to take part in a company that does such unethical things to save a buck and more importantly evade good hard workers who earned these positions over a dolllar saver employee. So after you’ve taken a position with this company I can almost bet they dispose of you just to hire another candidate who will in face represent tax breaks and it just happens over and over and over. Since I can’t land a job this is not my job. I’m tiard of these companies being this immoral to PEOPLE!!!!
