      The money is good when times are good.

      Cons

      This is a cut-throat company that routinely lays people off. There was just a mass layoff of thousands of people and another one coming according to WARN papers filed with DOL. Laid-off employees are treated like criminals, literally shutting down computers and phones while they are in the process of being terminated. As if that isn't enough, people working at the company continue posting all over LinkedIn and social media about the importance of mental health, supporting employees, etc. Really tone deaf. A company cannot profess to care about their employees while laying them off by the thousands just so stock prices can go up by a few cents.

      The level of racism from the Indian employees is unmanageable/unreasonable. The Indians have perfected a scheme of making it hard for other races to have easy entry path to hiring. But made it easy to hire the like Indians for the roles they are less qualified for. This is too glaring with the kind of politics being played. They do everything to frustrate non-indians on the team. They created two rules within the teams where you have majority of Indians. One for the Indians and the other for the other races. So bad, so poor for a firm like Morgan Stanley.

      Pros

      Fair pay when you’re comparing to wages across the nation with the competitors, but could still be better nonetheless due to the economy and rise in cost of living.

      Cons

      Poor work life balance. Overworked. No training provided for different business units or platforms you’re expected to perform on outside of your role.
