Pros

Allowed to work with a variety of high tech equipment. No being continuously hawked by management. Decent benefits with a menu of benefit options.

Cons

Poor work - life balance. Work comes before all else and they won't leave you alone even on holidays, vacations, or weekends. High turnover because of this. Sales is primarily the focus even though they claim the customer is.

Low supervision level. Work from home. Gas was paid for vehicle + $0.10 per mile As machine tools go, nothing was particularly difficult technically.

Cons

Customers didn't like to pay bills, causing unnecessary friction with field service. Driving, and driving, and more driving.
