Pros

Starting Pay is on par with other big companies, All positions are FT, Culture is great for the most part, most people here genuinely care about you and your progress, employee discount is great.PTO is wrapped up into 1 thing so no Sick/Vacation hrs. Just a lump sum of hours you can use however you like. The CEO & Mr jenkins are very nice and are seen regularly at the office. The will talk and joke around with you like they are just any other worker. That is very refreshing. Get paid weekly which is great. Weekly meeting can be fun.

Cons

While most people are very nice here there are a few who could care less about you(that happens at any job), there are many times during your shift that people will be goofing off & talking really loud while your are working. This includes supervisors. Every week I hear loud cursing from across the room. This could be heard at anytime by anyone on the phone. The structure is very odd, other employees same level as you will often give you feedback or direction instead of a manager or supervisor. You are sometimes asked to work on weekends or on your day off. Supervisors do not work weekends so they will try to get you to come in instead of them working/when it is slow you are forced to make outbound calls. This would be fine except they also have an automated system which does the exact same thing and they will run it at the same time. Open 365 days a/yr. If you work a 10 hr shift on a holiday you only get paid 8 hrs holiday pay(you also get paid your normal rate for what you do work). They also don't tell you if you work a holiday until the week before. Due to this I have sometimes had to work 6 or 7 days in a row. The rotating 6 week schedule is dumb. you do get a nice 5 day weekend every 6 weeks but only a few of the other weeks do you get 3 days off in a row. They need to just make it a simple rotation. The call system algorithm is messed up. There are days when I make more outbounds and take more incoming calls than anyone on my team even though they are a tier higher than me. Another annoying thing is they monitor all your calls. So if you could have booked a call they will send it to you and sometimes even have a meeting with you. No disciplinary action but it gets quite frustrating. They teach you all kinds of things to say to people to make them book with you and not go talk to their spouse or get a price from another company. MJ is the best in a lot of areas but I hear a lot of people bashing other companies. it's one thing to state why we are different & another to straight up say other companies suck. Health Insurance isn't that good. If you need a supervisor good luck. 90% of the time they are away from their desk or won't answer their phone. They only respond to email or something in person. I can't tell you how many times i've had to take a message and tell a cst i'll have the supervisor call them back because no one would answer the phone. Weekly meeting can sometimes be rough. They like to role play. I get how this makes you better but it should be done in a smaller setting with a supervisor or just 1 person. I have seen alot of people embarrassed due to having their call played out loud and then picked apart by others. This should not happen in an open forum. It should be in private with a supervisor. Stuff changes all the times and your given no notice, them people will get mad when you ask a question. lastly favoritism definitely exist . Example is the lunch schedules are made daily by a supervisor. They will often times give preferred times to their favorites. Your lunch schedule can also vary every day. You don't have a set time. It's all up to who is making it and when they say you can go.

Pros

I worked there a year and enjoyed most of the people I worked with. Getting paid weekly was nice. Pay was good compared to industry standards.

Cons

Cronyism, favoritism, pushing for sales. Very skewed priorities. Contact Center leadership was a mess. Training was lacking because the person who was doing the training at that time was not skilled in training and did not know how to coach employees in a respectful way. Shift schedule was a mess and very inconsistent, week over week. You could end up working 7days in a row that would cross 2 pay periods, then have 1 day off, come back and work 1 day and then have 3 days off. that made 10 hour work days not worth it. Needed more people in the contact center taking calls.. Hard to focus on sales when you have a contact center yelling about calls in queue, yet she had 5 or 6 coordinators for the sales department sitting around half the time doing nothing but laughing or joking.
