Pros

I can't think of one the fact I have a job and this company can go public

Cons

Not only my division but other mid-market divisions have managers who micromanage their reps. They rely on Salesloft to track every activity but focus on metrics that aren’t truly indicative of success.

Pros

Good product, that is the only good thing about being in sales here.

Cons

Micromanagement in the highest degree. Leadership has no clue what they are doing. Commission structure is THE WORST I HAVE SEEN. The difference in commission rate between 99% attainment and 100% attainment is huge. If you don't hit, which you probably wont; you aren't getting paid. Very low tenure. The amount of turnover is insane so customers all complain about having multiple reps in 6 months. We are flying without a CRO, likely because our CEO does not have any idea what he is doing. Reps are incentized to get their customers to leave g2 reviews, and rewarding customers for doing so. Do not trust the glassdoor reviews either, they want us to leave 5 star reviews to boost the outward appearance of the company as opposed to making the company a good one to work for. We have daily 15 minute stand up calls 8am in the morning every day on camera (we used to do twice a day until enough of us complained).

Thank you for your feedback. At Motive, our compensation structure is designed to reward performance, with additional incentives once sales targets are met. This approach is widely used across many organizations to help drive success. If you’d like to share more feedback, feel free to reach out to us at opendoor@gomotive.com. Thanks!
