Pros

Friendly and stable work environment, excellent opportunity for learning and advancement, Good pay - saw other reviews that say its low...Not true, I've experienced it myself - perform well and you will reap the benefits! Never had a lay off - how many companies can say that? Mouser cares about its people. Benefits are good - if you don't think so try Obamacare! Company makes nice contribution to HSA to give employees money to help with healthcare costs. Fun activities and charitable company. Truly an Open Door Philosophy.

Cons

Employees that don't want to contribute 100% and whine about the littlest thing. You didn't have to come to Mouser and Mouser didn't have to hire you - give 100+% and succeed! Employees need to communicate with management about any concerns in an appropriate manner - whining to your friends won't fix anything - talk to someone that can actually help you. Figure out what you can do to improve yourself and fulfill your potential vs blaming others for everything.

Pros

The business is solid and growing. I've worked in 5 depts, had extra training, learned the business starting at the bottom. The mobility in this company is phenomenal. There is a precedent for nepotism (many husbands and wives work here). And schedules are flexible and if you are in a good department

Cons

The flipside to everything I said: it's growing so fast that focus changes & processes become jumbled. I've worked in 5 departments, and I had to fight the good fight to get out of my first. I'm good, very good at what I do and they didn't want me to go and tried their best to block me from leaving. But I am persistent and made it out to a fabulous autonomous department. I've had extra training that I ASKED for, I insisted on and I could prove it was beneficial. Schedules are as flexible as the need. After all this is a warehouse, AND customer service center. There are schedules to keep to service the customers. If you are in Sales, be prepared to wait a while if your schedule needs to change. And the pay is terrible. The reason why I've stayed? The learning opportunities of department hopping.

Cons

Location inconvenient to employees living north of the DFW metroplex. Salaried positions pay can be low. Experiencing growing pains. Could be a good thing.
