Pros

Specific job position requires you to be a certain ethnic group.

Cons

Mandatory work day on all holidays, work requirements is very stressful, break schedule is not very good, report cards are ridiculous, management could not handle this job, and it needs to go union.

Pros

Company that remains rooted in its core values with approachable management. Working at Mouser was a very positive experience. Management does care about getting results, just like any growing company should, but doesn't place unrealistic goals on its employees. From my experience, I felt that management genuinely listened to its employees and the HR department strove to hire the best and brightest people. SInce the company is an electronics distributor, and computers aren't going away anytime soon, the growth of the company should continue for the foreseeable future. The current CEO has been at Mouser for a long time and cares for its success in the long run. This means that decisions aren't made with haste, but are given ample forethought.

Cons

In my experience, there were not any cons.

Pros

Stable company with benefits. Lots of mandatory overtime.

Cons

A sweatshop environment with ethnic special treatment positions. Some warehouse jobs are a piece of cake. Some positions are very physically demanding. The report cards are not necessary. In my department it was mandatory to work overtime and on holidays. There were threats for those who did not comply. I always worked when they ask me to. I gave this company two months in advance that I was quitting. I requested to the HR manager I would like to speak to the President and Warehouse Manager. She never got back with me on the subject. On my last day the Assistant Warehouse Manager told me goodbye as well as some supervisors, coordinators, and employees. The man who hired me and the manager of my department did not even tell me goodbye. I left the company because of physical reasons and was at a Level Two. Did I do something wrong?
