Pros

-Incredible new leadership. The company went through a lot of change but it really feels behind everyone. The leadership team in place is awesome, has everyone's support and is providing a clear vision. -Making a difference in the world. Mozilla is one of the few companies that really helping people around the world. It is also setting web standards and defending the open web. -Tons of company perks: -2 work trips a year (last one was in Whistler, next are in Orlando, London and Hawaii) -Great food every day -Lot's of vacation -Work from home -More benefits than any other company -Biggest bonus in the industry -Opportunities to grow

Cons

Coming from startups, I find that things might not move at the speed that I'd like but I think it is a common thing for such a large organization.

Pros

Work with smart people (and most of them are really kind,) average salary, cutting edge web technology.

Cons

Not really work well with volunteer community as expect. Need a real product strategy that can stand for few years. (few > 1 at least.)

Lost its way

Pros

High talent concentration in core platform (Gecko, SpiderMonkey, Research) teams. Still some standards body clout in spite of loss of browser market share. Brand has declining market power, could be a turnaround story with better management.

Cons

Management is lost at board, CEO, and almost all of the (shrinking) C level. Cash-only comp and historic sloppy management have spread peanut butter among weak and strong, leading to deserved rep as place to go and take it easy for reliable good salary+bonus and great perqs. Too little competent middle management. No career development, so talent that might move up goes elsewhere, for RSUs and better career path.
