Pros

Honest, open and transparent, early notice and discussion for most major decisions. Diversified regarding race, gender, etc. Positive and encouraging working environment.

Cons

Making decisions sometimes take lots of discussions, which may take some time. Losing market share meanwhile a lot of tough decisions to make. Struggling to find sustainable business model that can keep Mozilla in an fully independent and neutral position.

The past year has certainly been a tough one, requiring us to make some significant changes to adapt to an evolving internet (and world). This included changes to our strategy which has put us in a much stronger place to compete; we’re already starting to see some positive results of these hard decisions.
