Pros

Mozilla provides competitive pay, offers good benefits, good mission, good intentions for making the web better.

Cons

Horrendous leadership C-level execs have no direction Horrible HR department from management down. Two face and can't trust them. They do not care about their employees. Got the feeling they were only there for a paycheck

Pros

Democratic, leadership tries to prioritize people and try to make everyone feel important and included at a very high level (specific managers aren't so great about this). Relative job security - they really try not to get rid of you if they don't need you anymore (try to re-home you in another team). Mission based - they truly do want to do the right thing and put users first. It's refreshing to be in a place where revenue doesn't drive everything. Oh and great benefits, very flexible about work hours, location, and work-life balance in general.

Cons

Incredibly disorganized, leadership is a joke. Not very strategically led. No idea how to differentiate or how to stay relevant in the market. Employees feel boxed in and like they don't have a path for growth. High achievers are not recognized or rewarded for their work. Tense, unstructured and confused culture is a total morale-killer. Makes good talent want to leave and do more (which they do), leaving behind the dead weight that gets treated and paid on the same level as top performers. You absolutely have to be a self starter that can work with no direction to succeed here - there is no structure to develop or support younger talent.
