Too many red flags

Pros

I can only assume the company vehicle, fuel card and the benefits.

Cons

I feel the craigslist ad was misleading. I feel that the disclaimer provided before you sit down is intended to save THEM time because it includes deal breaking revelations for many techs. For example the craigslist add states full time, once you arrive it is made clear that you are in no way promised 40 hours... you are given the OPPORTUNITY to bill 40 hours. Not sure how 40 is even possible seeing that much of your day is unpaid driving and lost time to rejected proposals. You can expect some mind games during the interview process like requests to do something ridiculously unrelated and uncomfortable in an attempt to gauge if you will do anything they say without question. Upon discovering you won't prepare to be disrespectfully excused from the process. The way it was explained to me was the the hourly rate varies every week and you start every week having no idea what you are making per hour that week and won't know til Thursday when they decide how much to pay you based on how much money you made them. If the bad week is a result of poor leads or poor dispatching the the loss is absorbed by the tech.

Pros

Provided work van and ipad

Cons

It is a national franchise that is set up well for the owners to make great money over charging people that do not know how to fix things around their house! This Companywide approach is the responsibility of the flow technicians that are constantly forced into situations Of impossible success

Pros

Company vehicle provided, decent hourly pay

Cons

It's a weird business model. Because customers are told that they are paying an hourly rate, they are breathing down the technicians neck the whole time they are working. Also, because the company relies so much on online sales, customers blackmail the management with the threat of bad reviews in order to lower the price after that fact.
