Pros
The pay is decent but, when you factor in the company vehicle and gas card it really is top notch. The goal of making the entire process a universal standard and knowing others are doing the same wearing the same brand, driving the same van makes it even more of a pride thing. They pay you well to perform, you help a lot of people that when you finish are grateful for your service and that ultimately makes it fullfilling. I've been in the trades a long time(even owned my own business), when this opportunity arrived I knew I was going to be a good fit. If you are skilled at multiple trades and enjoy multiple challenges and like meeting people this is the place to work for sure.
Cons
Office staff can be unfeeling towards the needs of the job. Once someone is scheduled the client then stops trying to find a company to do the job. if it happens that what is needed is not what was in the original description and throws off the scheduling they will tank the job and have you leave it even if it's important and you're leaving them in a bad way since they have to restart the process with a whole different area to address. When you show up most clients are skeptical and you cost a fortune, your job is to win their confidence with your knowledge of the topic and then out perform their expectations...to the client you are Mr. Handyman. Leaving them with unresolved issues that could be addressed is difficult sometimes.
