Pros

Unlike other companies, Mu Sigma provides a chance to actively and directly engage with the client from an early stage. Learning and implementing on-the-fly, working under hard deadlines and pulling out of seemingly impossible situations helps groom an individual for the longer run. College-like atmosphere, merit based allocation of work/responsibilities and the chance to freely interact with the senior-most members of the company (including the Founder-CEO) are additional plus points.

Cons

Time spent in office are more than "normal", but average working hours aren't. Pay is less than average for the the first year/year and a half, however this too evens out in the long run. Exposure to different verticals does happen but takes time and is again merit/need based (may leave a few folks disappointed).

Pros

-fastest learning curve for freshers. -opportunity to work in the business and commercial side of things where as every ther company is either a core company or a coding company - interaction with leadership and Cxo level people within the org right from the age of 22 -23 onwards - interaction with leadership and CXo level management of other client organizations and stakeholders -Work environment consisting of mostly 22 to 28 year olds. Feels like college all over again just with bigger and better responsibilities -immense chances to grow as an individual with extremely strong belief system of the organization -Cant stress over learning over knowing enough (again) -even the whackiest ideas are given encouragement and given every bit of respect to pursue if one shows enough rigor and commitment -Jugaad, and its application. ( basically this company makes you street smart)

Cons

Pay may not be sufficient to the workload or work . but one can pull through the first year until the bonus and first pay hike. then on, the pay is fine and one is guaranteed pay hike. unlike other companies where it depends on manager approvals and other nasty processes at the lower level Workload is heavy if you consider it to be. Once you start liking or loving it, you ll realize how much fun it is. All project done in the company are not rocket science projects, and nothing is ever constant. (this could be a great thing too)
