Pros

As a Nursing Assistant, Deaconess Hospital is the best hospital to work at in the Inland North West in terms of wages, benefits, working conditions.

Cons

As with all Healthcare systems, we are consistently short handed and understaffed. Providence, Multicare, and Kootenai are the only healthcare systems in the area and the lack of competition and choice is evident when it comes to employee satisfaction and retention.

Pros

When you are at a clinic, they treat you good and will make you feel like you are actually able to do your job.

Cons

Micromanagement, anyone above clinic admin team don't care what happens to you, any sort of serious complaint will result in serious reprimand or even termination. Seriously lacking in fair compensation for what they expect staff to do.

Pros

Decent starting pay. Decent benefits Great, hard working coworkers

Cons

Large corporation that sees its front-line workers as expendable. Put us on furlough despite taking millions in government money and still had record profits. Provided no PPE of any kind to us for over a year into the pandemic. HR "lost" hundreds of hours of PTO that I had earned and couldnt "find it". Think twice before joining a company where working conditions are so bad, doctors have to join a union in order to get their voices heard.
