      You get to take care of an underserved, unappreciated population

      People are so traumatized by the broken health care system they will not value you (both the patient and administration)

      Pros

      Decent compensation & benefits but very top heavy administration. w layers upon layers of directors, managers etc and rapid turnover.

      Cons

      Leadership:detached, arrogant,often uninformed. Lack of support for providers,hypocritical-do not adhere to their own mission statement. Significant attrition w loss of many excellent careline staff due to poor leadership. Human Resources-devoted to admin, not the employees.

      Pros

      I work with an amazing group of people. Physicians are great coworkers. They are thoughtful, kind and collaborate well. Our office staff and medical assistants are always looking out for me. They are always asking how I am doing and if I need anything. (even if they are not assigned to me that day!) We are a cohesive group. Multicare itself has a great onboarding group from recruiter, credentialing, epic classes, upper management talks, it is a good experience. I went through EPIC class. They really try to make sure I didn't struggle as a new employee.

      Cons

      There are always things that could be improved. At this point I wouldn't call them cons.
