Pros

Traverse City is a beautiful place to live. Munson has become a great teaching hospital. Also, they are open to hiring new graduate nurses, which facilitates the transition process from new grad to floor nurse.

Cons

I will never understand why hospitals continually opt out of incentive based wages - it seems counterintuitive in going forward with the intention of providing the best possible patient care. When working hard doesn't reap benefits, you being to ask yourself, "what the point?" Also, the expression "working for the man" has become all too relevant in recent years.
