The colleagues were kind, helpful, and got their jobs done.

Cons

As a nursing assistant looking to gain experience for an advanced practitioner position, I was disappointed in the pay at Munson compared to the pay at nearby nursing homes. While the experience was most important for me, the salary was a deterrent. There was also a large amount of reliability on overtime. While it was nice to have the extra pay, it was apparent that they should have hired more staff.

Pros

Nurses at the bedside were exceptional and taught me how to handle difficult situations; great teamwork; great patient outcomes; good tuition reimbursement

Cons

Terrible management on the unit and from unit coordinators; cno is a joke and doesn't stand up for nurses; terrible pay and expect you to participate in extra work for minimal if any extra pay. Good place to start a nursing career but I don't think they have a good program to keep experienced nurses happy work everything they continue to take away/ridiculous expectations

Good salary, great benefits, flexible hours and it's a teaching atmosphere, we are all students, no one is better or worse than someone else. We are all learning

Cons

Management doesn't always hear the employee suggestions and they leap into big projects without asking for employee feedback. They need to look at the overall value of a project.
