You get to work with music teachers and customers who are interested and motivated to develop their craft and programs

Cons

Unrealistic sales goals, toxic co-worker (in my case anyways), management was more interested in letting me go than fixing the problem that has ran off multiple other people since I was promoted to customer. HR did nothing for months about my concerns of bullying in the work force, company was unrealistic about medical issues and scheduled appointments outside of work hours. but refused to layout specific work hours for salaried employes, 45k a year is not worth 24/7 attentiveness

Pros

Relatively easy job, music lovers could thrive in the right environment as teachers maybe.

Cons

Horrible pay unless you’re full time, and barely flexible unless you have a good retail manager. Complicated/out-of-date computer systems. There is basically no help from upper management, but they will try to run your limited hours dry. Constant miscommunication between stores and often staff, and customers regularly getting upset at staff for policy changes or other issues outside of their control.

Pros

The people. Sales Associates & instructors are some of the most talented, intelligent, and hard working people I've ever met.

Cons

Extremely poor communication between corporate team and stores, high expectations with little to no support, toxic and disorganized leadership. Bad decision after bad decision that could have easily been avoided by actually listening to us (not cherry picking the easiest to fix complaint in an attempt to placate us while ignoring the more serious systemic failures.)
