The culture is no culture.

Pros

Great location in Beverly Hills, good lunching opportunities, casual dress, recreation room, decent tools to work with.

Cons

Lack of vision, poor communication from senior management, arbitrary rewards and recognition, cronyism, focus on getting things done over building a trusting, team-based culture.

Pros

The work is pretty straight-forward. Myspace gives you the opportunity to work somewhat independently in this role. Goals are clearly set for the department and it is your job to meet those goals. If you are not reaching full potential, you will be informed. I liked working in a fun, youthful environment. The dresscode is fairly liberal and most things are accepted. You are allowed to listen to music while you work. Great for artists looking for swing shifts or night shifts. It gives you time to work on your true passion, but puts enough in your pocket to keep you sane. It is also good for singles and parents looking to make some extra money using their free-time.

Cons

Limited mobility out of customer care department. I ididn't feel as if it would be an easy jump from one dept to another at Myspace. You work at a secondary office not the main office where most of the magic happens.

Pros

We're still developing against the latest tech and the people here can work great as a team when the right project comes along.

Cons

Strategy is still undefined and the culture has taken a major hit over the past few years.
