Pros

Myspace offers a comparatively good benefits package and good compensation. In working for Myspace, it is good to be part of industry leader. As employees, we have access to emerging technologies and processes, often ahead of our competitors (our favorable position with Microsoft technologies, for one).

Cons

There are too many politics. Many executives are "territiorial" about their own domains and reluctant to foster open communication across other verticals or subject matter areas. There is often a lack of inter-departmental information sharing. And often not a company-wide cohesion of teams.

Pros

The facility is great. The are a lot of cool projects to work on. Most of the developers are pretty bright and friendly.

Cons

It's very political. Unfortunately you won't advance based on merit alone. You need to be part of the inner circles in order to really move up. Also, the pay is pretty average compared to other companies.

Pros

MySpace in all departments has awesome people, cool and young corporate culture, it is an excellent product, as well as a great brand, obviously one of the most popular websites in the world. Owned by Fox Interactive media, FIM offers excellent benefits, flex hours and work from home arrangements for some, and $50 worth of free meals / snacks at the on-site cafeteria. The office features a game room, showers, ATM, and roof-top patio. Celebs are always stopping by for interviews. Tom and Chris both work in the building, which keeps it real.

Cons

The commute to Beverly Hills can often take up precious time, and the corporate b.s. that is inevitable with being part of newscorp.
