Pros
Good health insurance benefits at a reasonable cost, 401K match, great opportunity for training in order to find a better job at another company.
Cons
Not enough PTO accrual if working at the company less than 5 years, no upward mobility for lab techs, only one person gets promoted in the entire department per year (promotion opportunity has nothing to do with actual merit), incompetent middle management, incredibly high turnover in the reagents department, company appears to be in a really bad place financially based on stock value and consistently not meeting any of the financial goals set by the board of directors. If looking at a job here in reagents try to get on the day shift if possible. The other shift really suffers from toxic/inconsistent/bullying management.
