Myriad is an excellent place to learn about the IT industry. Management is competent and caring and takes the time to show you the ropes. Flexible work schedule makes for an perfect work/life balance. Great reputation in the IT industry. Staff is passionate about what they do and the company they work for. Fun and frequent office parties at great bars and restaurants around the city. CEO and middle managers are hand-on but don't micro-manage. All around excellent environment.

Cons

There are very few cons to working at Myriad but if I have to name one, the office could use a better male/female balance.

Over the last 4+ years I've watched as the company has exploded in terms of size, revenue, profitability and international footprint. Extremely easy to get behind CEO Andy Fisher's indelible vision. All the tools to be successful within this organization are available to you.

Cons

Work / life balance can be blurry as a large investment is expected by management. The rewards are there for those willing to invest however.

The corporate culture is relaxed and values hard work over "who you know". The vision for the company is strong with a bright future in my opinion. As an individual, they really work with each employee to develop them in the best possible way.

Cons

No serious cons on my end. Vacation time is based off of shipping holidays but it's not the end of the world as they have a great vacation policy.
